Does Quran condemn Jews and Christians to Hell?

No, it doesn’t. Quran speaks hope for all believers in one God. Since our inventions of instrumentation, we have observed in the Cosmos the likelihood that reveals the sure possibility of Heaven (another planet like earth) and Hell (molten hot unsettling regions of earth). How many of us Jews and Christians along with Muslims are going to make it to the Heaven? to the exclusion of all other men! Who among us can dare to condemn others to Hell?

Would? Muslims come in confidently to condemn people of the Book (of Bible) to Hell. Will Semites (of Abrahamic faiths) get there to the exclusion of many Aboriginals of those bygone days who bore belief in their mysterious Creator? Yeah, even before the Muslims or Christians stepped into their territory. Has anyone bothered at all? to research their relationship with their Creator they had nurtured in the past.

What about Aboriginals since they are not from the Bible or the Quran?

If today we task ourselves with this project, we’ll perhaps loose many a facets pointing at their possessing the knowledge of their God; the God of Noah (when Men first set out to waters). As these remnant communities were driven to forget their legacy upon invasion. Indigenous both in America and Australia have by far lost their culture, heritage and beliefs as they were maligned and infused with evangelism for decades upon the discovery of their lands by the White-man as they are identified by these Indigenous inhabitants.

Zul-Qarnain (supposedly, Alexander the great) a man of authority praised in the Quran for his making ensuring justice among people of various lands, who in his extended kingdom did encounter tribes who lived an Aboriginal life as how we know they live very-close to nature.

Quran 18:90-92 -Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had provided no covering protection against the sun.

[He left them] as they were: We completely understood what was before him.

Then followed he [another] way-.

Having judged a people given to oppression Zul-Qarnain when he travelled to the other extended boundaries of his kingdom he met with a people of Aboriginal lifestyle. By his God praised wisdom he parted leaving them in peace without judging them as they were cut-off from civilisation based progressive lifestyle. Not so to their fate the Indigenous of America and Aboriginals of Australia did suffer greatly and losses to this day are observable within their societies; as the early White-settlers did not spare them.

Implying that justice and righteousness are not outcomes of scientific advancements or derivatives from evolution of secular thoughts as Richard Dawkins misconstrues. But, it takes sheer obedience to the God of mankind that his mercy be spread among his creatures as an act of worship seeking no personal gains.

Who are Aboriginals of America and Australia?

Modern genetic studies & archaeological evidence suggests that all people spread-out throughout the earth today actually originate from a small band of men. Quran has a similar story to narrate.

Quran 36:41-44 -And a Sign for them (to believe) is that We bore their race in the loaded Ark.

And We have created for them similar [vessels] on which they ride.

If it were Our Will, We (God) could drown them: then would there be no helper [to hear their cry], nor could they be delivered.

Except by way of Mercy from Us, and by way of [world] convenience [to serve them] for a time-.

Therefore, I suggest… by the skill of ship building people who boarded with Noah started to migrate and explore oceans and to new lands. First arrivals to America and Australia followed this trend of boarding ships to travel seas and live in lands distant far-away and thus became cut-off from Afro-Asian civilisation. Over the years’ hundreds over hundreds of generations replaced the inherited belief systems into milder versions and some turned into pagans. Yet others among whom the Aboriginals of Australia and Indigenous of America are distinct held on to the creator God of the Ark and did not stray to create idol-gods.

Does Quran really promise Heaven for Muslims alone?

Quran 2:111-113 -And they say, “None will enter Paradise except one who is a Jew or a Christian.” That is [merely] their wishful thinking, Say, “Produce your proof, if you should be truthful.” Yes [on the contrary], whoever submits his face to God while being a doer of good will have his reward with his Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve. The Jews say “The Christians have nothing [true] to stand on,” and the Christians say, “The Jews have nothing to stand on,” although they [both] recite the Scripture. Thus others who do not know speak the same as their words. But God will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ-.

There isn’t any exclusive preference with the Lord of the worlds! He will judge all with justice and those that have true faith in Him and have worked righteous deeds will have nothing to fear. None from any specific community will get to Heaven to the exclusion of all others at the expense of the principles God has laid down.

When the people of the earlier books assert before Muslims that they will burn in hell if they did not profess similar faith to theirs. Then Muslims are taught not to revile them but instead say, simply all those who keep submission to God while doing good-works will get to Heaven.

Quran 2.62 -Those who believe [in the Quran], and those who follow the Jewish [scriptures], the Christians and the Sabians [truth seekers]; any [among Mankind] who believe in God, the Last Day and work righteousness [in this Life] shall have their reward with their Lord: On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve [in Judgement day].

Quran clearly lays down the universal law from God to mankind. Concerning judgement, if any believes in the divinity of spurious demi-gods including the attribution of Jesus Christ as the species like son of God or God Himself, then such inventions amount to committing a sin known for partnering or association (named as shirk in Arabic). Which remains essentially the only unforgivable sin with Lord of the worlds. Alternatively, many Christians who resolve in Christ as their Prophet from God clearly have equal hope by virtue of their clear faith and good-works before God, according to the Quran.

Wishful interpretation of Abrahamic Semites

I think, it is required that false ideas of traditionalists among the Semites be clarified before people. Who have ignorantly draped the true teachings of God from men by their wishful pursuits and limited knowledge.

Quran 3.113-115 -They are not [all sects of Judaism and Christianity] the same; among the People of the Scripture [Bible] is a community standing [in obedience], reciting the verses of God during periods of the night and prostrating [in prayer]. 

They believe in God and the Last Day, and they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and hasten to good deeds. And those are among the righteous. 

And whatever good they do, never will it be removed from them. And God is fully aware of the righteous-.

In Heaven or Hell, Jews and Christians be? Come on my brethren Muslim community, wake up! Allah promises Heaven to all people sticking to truth to the exclusion of our own identity. We as Muslims are most expected to realise the truth in the verses of Allah.

Quran is the verbatim word of God; it extends glad tidings to all good servants of His among Jewish, the Christian and truth seeking communities worshipping none but one God for their devout practices.

Quran 2.62 is muhkam and is ghair mansookh (can’t be abrogated). Because, this verse clearly identifies the addressees, specifies criteria, promises rewards and security.

God’s reckoning each category of people beginning with US, Jews, Christians and Sabians [seekers of truth] to stand by the 3 commandments for eternal salvation is indicative of peoples’ respective positions.

In the Quranic ways [sunnah] and the Prophetic history [seerah] events such as, God bidding the Prophet to judge Jews & Christians according to their respective scriptures and the Christian delegation that was housed in the Mosque of the Prophet by Prophet Muhammad blessings on him. That helped Christians carry the laws of inheritance from Quran and the partaking of a Jewish scholar in battle of Uhud against the enemies of early Muslims and the exhortation of Quran to speak to the people of the book with respect and its acknowledging their prostrations [sujood] during the nights, their shedding tears at hearing the verses [ayaats] of Allah were never conditional to their becoming Muslims.

Besides, the Quran far from condemning them to Hell as a whole encourages them to upgrade their belief through this new revelation carried by Gabriel then. At every instance the Quran curses its sinners as it is equally applicable to insincere Muslims today; it also praises its faithful, as pointed out in Quran 3.110 to 115.

Conclusion

Those who believe in the 3 fundamental commandments:

God.

His Judgement.

While performing good actions. Will never get to grieve.

Human beings of all times back in history or in the future will earn God’s mercy if they reside by these 3 commandments.

Beyond doubt this is the universal appreciation of God’s mercy to his servants who are inevitably bound by differed circumstances. There isn’t anything that condemns non-Muslims as a whole who wouldn’t commit the sin of shirk to Hell. A very clear point to be noted. Rather increasingly multiple references in Quran confirm beyond the element of any pessimism, fair judgement for all human beings. Muslims by identity alone won’t make it to Heaven. Every one is expected to attain achievement through good efforts.
